Stunning seaside retreat. The imposing pink building, formerly the Harbour Hotel is now 8 beautiful apartments. This gem on the first floor provides all the modern amenities for a relaxing holiday whilst retaining a wonderful period grandeur. The large bay window offers glorious views of the beach, sea and mountains beyond. In the heart of Aberdovey village; enjoy crabbing on the jetty, dining in great local restaurants and eating ice cream on the promenade. A perfect place to unwind. Spacious living room with sublime views from the bay window over the beach to the sea and mountains beyond. TV - standard channels. Unlimited wifi available. Fully equipped kitchen - large fridge freezer, microwave, rangemaster oven and dishwasher. Utility cupboard - washing machine and tumble dryer. We ask that you leave the cupboard door open when using these appliances. Master bedroom - king size bed. Ensuite shower room Second bedroom - double bed Family bathroom - bath with shower over. Access to the apartment is through a shared entrance hall serving the four flats to the left of the building as you look at the photograph. The entrance to the apartment is up a flight and a half of steps. Once inside the apartment, the space is entirely for your use. I will be available by email or phone with any queries. I have someone available in Aberdovey to help with any issues at the apartment Aberdovey is a bustling seaside village which retains traditional charm. The amenities are excellent and locals and holiday makers are well catered for. Eating out: There are several excellent eateries. Favourites include: - The Penhelig Arms: lovely seasonal menu - Seabreeze restaurant: delightful ambience and amazing fish dishes - Coast Deli: great for coffee and cake, through to lunch and onto delicious evening menu - Medina Coffee Shop: perfect breakfasts. ... And don't forget great fish and chips out of the box on the sea front! There are a number of restaurants in Tywyn – The award winning Salt Marsh Kitchen and their sister business, The Salt Marsh Café are ones to check out. Shopping Food: If you would like to do an online shop before you arrive, both Asda and Tesco deliver to Aberdovey, but we do hope guests support the local shops where ever possible. - Aberdovey Village Stores: in the centre of the village with a good selection of products - General Stores/Post Office: just past the railway bridge going out towards Tywyn. Good selection. Cash also available via the post office. - Aberdyfi Butchers: in the centre of the village with excellent local produce. - Dia's Fish Shed: nestled in the buildings next to the jetty look out for the catch of the day. - Co-op stores: in Machynlleth and Tywyn (the Tywyn store will deliver your shopping for you if you’ve walked there along the beach!) Shopping Fun: There are lots of lovely shops to explore selling clothes, gifts and local crafts. Things to do: - Crabbing on the jetty - Golf at Aberdovey Golf Club - Bowls, putting or tennis at Aberdovey Bowls Club - Putting or tennis at The Trefeddian Hotel - they simply ask that you buy a drink in return for use of the greens/courts. - Walk the Roman Road to Picnic Island - start opposite the Penhelig Hotel, walk along the lovely row of houses until you reach the gate to the park- head across the park to the path along the cliff side. - Walk the four miles along the beach to Tywyn - walk back or catch the train along the coast. - Visitors are welcome to try sea rowing at the rowing club at 10am Saturday mornings (take £3) meet on the jetty in front of the blue double doors. - Paddle boarding with Let's SUP Parking: We provide one car park pass for one car which allows free parking in the car parks in Aberdovey You can park for free in certain places around Aberdovey -on the road up Copperhill Street, along the seafront road opposite the main church & Britannia Inn, but please be aware things can get busy in high season. The main car park along the sea front and the car park at Penhelig are also pay and display. Public Transport: Trains - There are two train stations in Aberdovey - Aberdovey and Penhelig. Both are a short walk from the centre of the village. Buses - There is a local bus service through Aberdovey
